Mom and dad mom saw this film together at the theater when they were 15 years old in 1952. They married when they were 17 and have been together since. They had always longed to see the movie again but that seemed more and more unlikely as time went on. I really cannot tell you how happy you have made my parents and I. I was able to surprise them with the dvd on their anniversary a few days ago and there were tears of joy from both of them. It was such a beautiful family moment. There are no words to convey my gratitude. The dvd is beautiful, the movie is beautiful and you have helped to make my paents so, so happy. Thank you, thankyou, thank you

Thank you my friend. It has been a real pleasure to deal with you. I have loved our exchanges about the film. Already I have watched it six times since receiving it only a few days ago. Maria was a fine actress and reminds me so much of my beautiful wife Margy. I am also reminded of the week Margy made me take her to the movie theatre every night for a week to watch the film with her when it first came out. It remained her favorite film and I am only sorry that she was never able to see it again before she left us. The film is truly glorious and I am sure that I will watch it many more times yet. Finding this movie on dvd was like a dream come true. I searched for many years for it but all I ever found was the German language version that they put out a few years ago but sadly I don't speak German. Now at last I have a copy of the film I remember and I am overjoyed. I saw it first on cable many years ago and I never forgot it. Marius Goring and Maria Shell are perfect in it and the film is wonderful. Thank you for making it possible for me toi see it again. The quality of the film on the dvd is incredible.
